Bio:

Eddie Aftandilian is the Director of Platform Engineering at XBOW, a startup doing AI offensive security.

Previously, he was a Principal Researcher in GitHub Next, GitHub’s research team. He was one of the original members of the GitHub Copilot team, where he lead quality measurement and improvement.

Before that, Eddie led the Java Tools and JVM teams at Google. He worked on Error Prone, a bug finding and refactoring tool for Java, and Tricorder, Google’s static analysis platform, among other things.
